![]() I didn't put much effort into it as I already have a dedicated controller. I was unsuccessful getting the SL set up as a HUI device. The guide does not provide a clear mapping either way. ![]() ![]() I am not sure how these device names are mapped to these inputs. The guide speaks about three MIDI inputs: Parts, In Control, and DIN1. There are two other inputs, 'MIDIIN2 (Novation SL MkIII)', and 'MIDIIN3 (Novation SL MkIII)'. I assume that they correspond to Parts, CV, and InControl, as implied in section 13 of the user guide. The others are 'MIDIOUT2 (Novation SL MkIII)' and 'MIDIOUT5 (Novation SL MkIII)'. There are three other Novation SL output devices listed. DIN2: Channels: All, Send To: MIDIOUT4 (Novation SL MkIII).DIN1: Channels: All, Send To: MIDIOUT3 (Novation SL MkIII).KEYS: Channels: All, Receive From: Novation SL MkIII.After some trial and error, I discovered these settings work for me: I found that the Novation Getting Started Guide for Studio One 4 was not using the same device names that appeared in my instance.
